Are you really going to sell? If you do, part it out or you can kiss most of that 20K goodbye.

Did you guys ever get those dynos done? Or have you dinan guys run a stock 545 or 550 to see the difference in acceleration?

Hey T - I showed these pictures to my wife and even she said, "holy shit, that is one beautiful looking car!"
Thanks Calton. Maybe you can use that to justify doing more stuff to you car.

u should try to get into a euro magazine like ICEMAN316
I actually did try when Iceman316 originally posted about his car and Tim's car (Eurorev) getting that photoshoot. I wrote to European Car pitching my car and freed0m's car which are almost identical cars in black. I thought it would have been cool to see two white and two black E60s in one article but never got a reply... I've been an EC subscriber since they were called VW & Porsche so it's been my dream to have my car featured in their mag. Oh well, I'm just happy that a fellow E60er (Iceman316) got his car featured.... I might just laminate that article. HAHA

Thanks for all the compliments guys. You're all too kind. I honestly think all our cars are beautiful and still find myself looking and admiring any E60 I come across even if it's bone stock.

Roel, you need to get everything man. None of this half a$$ shit. HAHA J/K But you know what I mean, I'd love to see your car as a complete Dinan showcase. Don't stop now brother!

euroman, where are you in SJ? There are a few of us members that work/live close by to each other so we do lunch or meet up for drinks every now and then. I'll send you a PM with my contact info if you want to meet up one day.

What's up Heezy?! Yeah, everyone's telling me that if I were to sell, I'd get more money back from partying out the car but man, it's so hard to imagine taking a knife to my baby. All the work picking your favorite parts and then see it all dismantled.. Man, I sound like an emotional b#atch...

And no, we haven't done the dyno day yet. Gotta talk to VT about bumping that thread up. I think it was scheduled for the 21st. I was hoping to do a run with Freed0m because our cars are almost identical, transmission, wheels, suspension..etc...but his is stock and mine is modded. That would probably be the ideal test to see what differences there are, if any, with the Dinan mods. Unfortunately, he's traveling right now and won't be back till the beginning of May.

Well I guess it's about time I chimed in, this thread is probably more of a farewell tribute thread for his DINAN 5 since it's quite obvious what's going on here........
