My posit quiet's do the same thing. I have only had them for about a 2 weeks but so far not real impressed. The squeel drives me nuts in the am when they are cold and they also don't feel like they have that great of stopping power.

Man Posi Quiets ARE NOT good for stopping power. I've had so many people tell me "michael, these pads suck at stopping." I switched them to Hawk HPS's and they are happy happy happy.

i have axxis brake pads with centric drilled rotors and i thought it was just when it was cold too, but it's not. had the installer put anti-squeal "solution" and it worked for about a week. after that, it still squeals, not as bad, but still squeals. mainly when i'm braking from about 50mph-40mph. let me know what you're going to do to get rid of the squeal

Performance wise yeah they kind of suck. But for everyday stop and go they have been pretty good for me esp for the cost. What is the cost for HPS?

Hawk HPS Pads
Front - $100
Rear - $75

They come with sensors.

it is comparable to Axxis and the stopping is good. I dont get any squeal, knock on wood! Hawks are good in my opinion.

I don't know if this will help, but try bedding in the brakes and see if that might reduce the noise. Here's the link to instructions:
