Thanks everybody for the kind and encouraging words... So I finally did my road test today and here is my short report.

The good:
- now I know I have a fast car that responds almost instantaneously to my itsy bitsy pressure on the gas pedal... brings HUGE smile to my face
- passing others on the road is now so easy...
- need sharp and responsive brakes else I'd run over cars in front of me... car gets up so quickly I have to have sharp reflexes to avoid fender bender for the car in front
- the car revs up and too much touch on the pedal, gets you over 4K rpm in a heartbeat....
- no more lag from dead stop... its ready to rumble whenever you touch the pedal... holy smokes!!!

Now to the bad:
- I am afraid I'd get a traffic ticket easily. Why? I find myself cruising at 90mph with only the barest touch to the pedal
- did I say I'm gonna get ticketed by the cops?
- oh yes, looks like I'm gonna be a magnet to the cops on the freeway cos I can't seem to keep the car under 80mph no matter how much I try...

I tried it in DS mode and it appears to be slightly more behaved than in D mode. D mode + SB is like a prisoner on a prison break... in my 530i. I have read people get that in DS mode. I'm gonna drive it in DS mode more and see if its the less jumpy mode. Don't get me wrong.. in D mode is where the car wants to be, and its where it'll be. Loving it...

If you haven't bought one, what are you waiting for?

If you want to keep your bank account from depleting to $0.00, then stay away from NeRwEEzy! When the you are 'jonesing for a mod', NeRwEEzy is the 'pusher'!

In all honesty, NeRwEEzy and r1Racer at Trinity are some of the best guys to go to for your modding fix!

Happy modding. What's your next big mod (maybe M-kit)
I asked my dealership for a quote, and got a $4,000 installed for the M-Tech kit. I haven't priced it elsewhere, but what is the reasonable cost for this mod? I do indeed like the kit and the aggressive look it gives the late model 550i.
