Now that I've pretty much decided to go for the 19" Hartge Classics (with P-Zero Rossos), I was wondering if anyone can recommend an aftermarket exhaust for my car......I was thinking about eisenmann, supersprint, or Hartge.....I recall the eisenmann being very very loud on my previous M3......can someone help? Thanks a lot.

 

I have the Eisenmann on my 545 and it has a perfect sound IMO. Louder and deeper rumble than OEM but never disturbing when cruising around.

On my M5 ( E39 with Eisenmann ) it was much louder and could sometimes be a little annoying.

Did you get the Sport, High, or Race version of the Eisenmann?

 

I like the sound of nice exhaust with rumble at takeoff and soft purr as rpm goes up. I am less interested in expense of full catback and the possible power increase. What about a mufler replacement ONLY to get the acoustic results? Any experience out there?

 

I have the medium sound.
