New 2004 530i owner here!
What's up mates,
I just picked up a 04' 530i swapped with a 330i ZHP. I was just wondering a few things:
1. What are some recommendations for exhaust setups? I'm not looking for an obnoxious setup, but tasteful I'd say.
2. The interior of the 530i is well, years behind when it comes to the entertainment/audio section of the car. Any recommendations on modifications? I was running a Sony XAV-AX1000 in my previous car (05 WRX Wagon) and loved how it was so simple and easy to use. Looking to do something similar. I saw a few posts about putting a bracket for a DIN where the DVD/CD drives are. There's also the option of replacing the actual monitor on top where your iDrive system display is.
I think that's about it. I'm really looking forward to cleaning this car up since it definitely is in need of some TLC. The motor is fairly fresh with just about 100k miles on it. Everything else is purely cosmetic both interior and exterior.
Thanks for any feedback and I'm excited to dive into the BMW world as this is my first BMW. All my other cars were either Subaru (WRX Wagon ej205), Nissan (89' s13 ka24de, 91 s13 sr20, 04 350z), Infiniti (05 G35), or Toyota (94 MR2 RHD 3SGTE Widebody).
