its possible to remove the shark fin....its only held on by glue. if they use some strong fishing line, they can remove the sealant. however if you are going to a pro shop, they should be able to wrap the fin and the roof w/ one piece. they will need to be pros w/ that damn heat gun though.
i had to wrap mine in two stages....roof first then the fin second. honestly it looks pretty good, but of course would be better if it were all one seamless piece. you have to lean in and get all the way up on it....look into the crack btwn the roof and the fin to tell the difference. so im satisfied.
post pics, im sure it will look awesome!

Lookin forward to this video tutorial! My gloss black vinyl for my roof just got in yesterday, so I'm going to be starting that soon. I'm thinking I'm going to wait until your DIY vid so I have a bit more direction with it. I'm still confused on how the exact process is. Do you stretch the vinyl ONLY for areas with edges/curves? or do you stretch it everywhere you apply it, and hit it with a heat gun?
Anyway, sick looking car! The red angel eyes really set it off. You've got me thinking about wrapping my entire car now, depending on how well i get the hang of it.

Looks absolutely sinister (in a good way)!
I ordered my Gloss Black Oracal 970RA from metrorestyling (for roof only) as Chris recommended. Tommy took care of me with 15% off! It should be here by the end of the week.
Thanks for thread, and pics. Can't wait to see the vid!

You are doing an awesome job man! Any chance you could snap some pics of the insides of the doors? And the Door jambs? Do you wrap it in all the way behind the door panel?
