255/30 is kinda thin. Try 245/35 if you can

I will never use 30 and 25 lit just like runing on the rim and not tryes.
There are no smooth roads for these very low profile tyres to drive on for day to dayuse , all it will do is just damage your car.
They are design for track use.

My Ride: 2007 550i Saphire Black on Dakota Black with Anthracite Trim, 6-spd manual, Sport Pkg, HUD, Active Steering, Ipod Connect...

I am a brand new member and found this post especially interesting... I currently own a '99 540i 6-spd on which I have 19" Breyton Spirits. The rims have been nothing but problems for me! I have cracked two of them beyond repair and have had a total of 6 straightening jobs performed. I have the lowest profile tires possible and the tires still rub against my rear wheel wells when I have people in the backseat on bumpy roads.
I recently ordered a 2007 550i 6-spd and can't wait for its arrival! One of the things I am considering is whether to sell my 540 with the rims on it, or put the stockers on before I sell it and try out the Breyton's on my new 550. Any reccomendations?
I have another friend with the same rims, and he too has had problems with them bending... perhaps the Spirit is made of a softer alloy, or maybe just a poor design.
BTW... anyone interested in the '99 540i 6-spd. low-mileage, only 56K. I'm looking to get $21,000.

Lowest profile tires possible combined with a slight dip in the road is going to give you nothing but problems
