As I've mentioned before... I'm probably the farthest thing from Reality, man.

I too am looking to possibly replace the muffler on mine but am hesitant to go too loud, especially as wife absolutely hated my last car and exhaust was one of the reasons.
Unfortunately, I made that mistake on my last car, a modded 2002 VW GTI (mid-life thing - don't ask) and first exhaust was too loud (Jetex), 2nd exhaust was supposed to be the most subtle but was still a little too loud.

Since I grew up mainly is Australia I have always loved the V8 sound but only when I want it to be heard.

A good comparison would be the new AMG SL55. This seems to have a nice refined V8 sound without being obnoxious. Anyone out there know what I mean and can compare that sound to their Remus, B&B etc.

Also, where to buy and install in SoOC, SoCA

cheers

Just noticed whilst on the Eisenmann site that they may have changed the design on their setup to mirror the OEM design so that it shuts down one muffler via the vacuum tube under certain circumstances. Maybe at idle to increase back pressure or reduct resonance, ideas ?
