I have searched thru past posts and still haven't located anything to help on this one... I need to find a "mod friendly" BMW dealer (or independent mechanic - with knowledge of an e60) in socal to unprogram the annoying ass seat belt chime in an 07. It is driving me banana's! Before anyone wants to post the classic "its stupid to drive w/o a seat belt, etc, etc, etc, please believe - I KNOW. I never drive without no matter what and don't allow any of my passengers to do either. I tell passengers to "click it or kick bricks". Already kissed a front windshield in a past accident when younger and I can only assume God gives 1 pass on an experience like that.
Can anyone recommend a dealer/mechanic they would trust on own car?

Thanks in advance!

If you wear your seatbelt all the time, I really don't see how the chime could be that annoying

On a side note, I've had great experiences with Savage BMW. Talk to Gabriel in service to see if he can help you.

Coolio, I can only assume they can do this as long as they have the right computer/program to go into the ecu

I went the cheap easy way. A local salvage yard had a totaled 135 that for $25 allowed me to cut the front passenger and driver seat belts. So the male portion of the 135 seat belt just stays installed on my 530xi all the time.
