From what I understand, metallic paint does not affect radio or gps, isn't hat what the shark fin is for??? I like the 50% tint all around, nice and uniform, plus, with auto interior dim on rear view, 35% may be a little dark

The window tint goes INSIDE the rear window, leaving the antenna outside of it. It won't affect reception.
I've had window tint in every car I ever owned, and it's never affected radio.
The only time I ever had window tint affect any type of reception was when I had an Alpine GPS system installed in my Lexus, and the antenna was on the dashboard near the windshield wipers. I then got my whole front windshield tinted, and lost the GPS signal. So I had to relocate the GPS antenna to the top of the windshield where there was a small cutout for the rearview mirror. This allowed the signal in.

In theory it should affect your reception, but it does a little bit. Some times when your car is covered by tree's or in a restricted area, it gets some signal from the other windows through the car. It affects it a little bit. I lost radio reception on a few channels.
