Lowerings and coil overs are ment to lower the car, wow no news here 
but this is not only equal to stiffness, much more than that and actually positive.
When your ride is lower you feel better have a much better control on your car, the car's aerodynamics characterstics are enhanced, meaning better perfomance and more grip in fast turns. HAMANN and H&R are one of the many besides, Eichbach, K&W etc. lay low mates 
PS: I have the BMW oem sport suspension (1,5 cm) and need luckily no coilover so I will for 385 ? just get the lowering springs from HAMANN when next year my new black shoes are on:
for best look and no gap w 20" or 19" get the front and rear ones

ok now I need to find a place that rolls fenders in the Orange County, CA area...anyone know a place? I'm not rubbing while driving normal but it does rub from time to time in the fronts when driving agressive

Busta - Your ride looks soooooo much better ...can't wait to sneak the springs (past my wife! ) and get them installed on my car. Have you tried going back to your wheel dealer to roll the fenders? I heard its no big deal to do. Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim where I got my wheels can do it.
