As for the TV reception, don't ask
. You'll be lucky to pick up any signal from local channels. I didn't really care to get the TV funtionality but its there for my piece of mind

Can you fill us in on how you did the video connections? and what is the switching device that toggles between the idrive computer's video and the dvd's video?

My Ride: 2005 530i; Silver Gray; Sports and Premium Package; SAT radio; AUX input.
I still cannot believe that the screen would work for DVD. Unbelievable!
3 questions: 1) How is the picture quality?
2) When you turn the car on, is the default still the IDrive Start-up screen or the DVD Screen?
3) How long did the installation take?
