yes, this looks great! Would you mind posting some of the product numbers/names (and if you don't mind, just a round pricing figure?)

Thanks!

The DVD Player is called Accele Vision. Its pretty good with a lot of funtionality. I also forgot to mention that it has a screen saver if a DVD is not playing.

I got the entire package installed from NAVwithTV over in Brooklyn, NY. The module and DVD player together was $550 and the installation cost was $449 (thought it was kinda high <_< , but they did a good job).

I always wanted DVD playback for those long trips

I assume you can play the DVD/TV funtion while the car is in motion? That was always a semi-sticky point on the E39s for a while.

Yea, you can certainly play DVD's while driving. I've watched two movies in the past two 4 days already while driving back and forth from work

Not really, we tried to find a good spot to put it such as inside the glove box but my CD changer is there. The other option was also to put it in the trunk but that would make changing DVDs a hell. When you sit inside the car, you can't even notice its there. Its mounted all the way at the back. Hardly noticeable.

Why can't you use the entire screen? If not, can you bring the NAV map on the smaller screen? Looks really nice, and I agree with the location, however, I think I'll put mine in the glove compartment, its never used for anything. Nice ride... How the TV reception.
