IMO no, but I guess it's like the sports package, you don't miss what you've never had. I just use my BB/google maps app. I think you see a lot of e60's with it as it's commonly put into the cars, unless ordered specifically not to be put in (as in my case)...

I think it is. I have a question though, for those that don't have the nav. system, what does the iDrive menu screen show?

Absolutely.

Routings and maps are excellent, having used TomTom since v1.

Best thing is it's fixed in the car no more windscreen mounts!!

displays the main menu/"home" screen...


for me my ipod is always plugged in and on, so it shows the play list I am on and track info...
