Navigation DVD 2012 coming out?

My Ride: 2008 550i

I need to buy a new DVD nav update disc for my 08' 550i. Does anyone know if the 2012 update disc will be out anytime soon? I'd hate to buy the 2011 DVD now only to see a new one come out shortly afterwards. Thanks

Best to contact BMW and ask them. Usually they come out with two NAV versions every year, so for this year it would be 2011.1 and 2011.2.

The .2 version should be out by now if they continue this trend.

Well after numerous calls I was able to find out the 2012 update should be out late Oct, or Nov. I'm unable to wait that long so hopefully its not too much of an update.
