I wonder if the dealer will raise some questions when they see this thing mounted on the car?

Funny you should ask. I'm taking my car in on Tuesday to get the creaky door problem fixed. I will uninstall the velocity before I bring it in. Takes 5 minutes to uninstall. Hopefully, the double sided tape that I used to mount it will come off easily. Any suggestions on the best way to do that?

use goo-gone or goo-off something like that

Next time you install use velcro - easy on, easy off for taking it into the stealer.
