UPDATE:

I ended up replacing some of my interior pieces which were originally tan and plasti dipped black with some oem black pieces sourced from eBay. For trim pieces that experience any sort of traffic or frequent contact this is the way to go.

I replaced the lower front kick panels, front and rear lower entrance trim, lower and upper B pillars. I left the door as-is since AFAIK the interior handle is part of the door, I also left the seat track covers alone (they are dipped) since they are holding up fine but down the road I would like to replace them with oem black along with the lower seat trim that covers the front and side panel where the electronic controls reside.

While I was at it I swapped my tan seat belts for black ones, it helps complete the look, now my B-pillars are all black and it helps visually connect the windows, the original tan upper B pillar was a bit of an eye sore in contrast.

I also snagged a black cargo liner and those slender carpet pieces which flank the center console. Future plans include oem black carpet F&R.

The items which remain plasti-dipped are the following:
- Roof Antenna
- Rear Wiper
- Decorative Interior Trim + Steering Wheel Trim
- Seat Rail Cover/Trim

BTW, I highly recommend the oem all-weather mats, they are very thick and comfortable. Coverage isn't good as the digital offerings like Husky and WeatherTech but the BMW ones are much less prone to scuffing.

Here are some pics,
Evan

Thanks for the update. SO you are saying that the Plastidip is no good for anything that could have wear and tear? But it was fine for wheel and dash trim?

Essentially, I have my rear wiper and latch dipped and even though I frequently open the glass with my hand, the dip has held up well but I am also conscious about it.
