the condition of t ny roads is one of the reasons i did not buy an m5. so many bumps cracks and basically nowhere to go fast without having 5/0 after you in matter of seconds.
i love the bottom lip but i know i would never put it on becasue of that reason .
i love your mods . im waiting for 550 rims for a good price before im gonna do the mtech kit.

BKBimmer - please allow us to quote you on the 550i wheels, we have them for $585 and 695 for 18s and 19s respectively.
Others - for the lip, it's of course best to get acclimated for a few days before driving in your usual manor, we recommend assuming you have no clearance. As far as the lips durability, it's very strong, very thick ABS, so it does take a lot to crack it (it's also attached to the bumper with some relatively strong bolts.

Same here. I'm already on H&R sport springs in Chicago. If I put a lip on it would be cracked into pieces in NO time. Especially if you hit high speeds and hit any sort of dip. The risk is just too great for practical, every-day use. Its only for show cars in this part of the world.
