Anthony mate in no way did I mean to offend you. I think the e60 is a stunning machine and especially yours. Now that I know the future mods I can definetly say your car will be no less than stunning. It is such a fine balance. A set of awful rims can completely ruin an e60. That said a black roof out of nowhere not tastefully done can make an e60 look a bit different.

Had I not seen a car like alpine whites or the new m3s with teh tastefully done CF black roof I would not have thought yours looked bad at all. And I used the wrong wording in that it did not look bad but rather would have looked BETTER with the future mods.

Great car my friend. I too have a 07 530i but mine is on lease and do not have storage space to keep many stock parts so the modding is limited for me but I am happy with my standard sport e60 but yours looks MUCH better than mine believe me yours is a beauty. I always like a nicely modded car especially with bmw rims.

Anyway are you sorry you did not go for the sport package? that is one thing I could not live without in a bimmer no matter how sweet the ride looked. Just curious why you went non-sport?

Hey Anthony,

Here's a DIY installation for the Shawdowline trim. I followed this when I did mine.

I was looking at that yesterday but, I don't quite understand how to get the bottom trim off.

Just knock it up with a flat head screw driver.

Its just snapped on.

You'll see once you get the pieces.

Really easy. just be patient and get a rubber hammer and a wood block, and some cloth.
