can you go into a little more detail on this? what is the build date on your car? did you have the nav pre-wire option?

YEs my car had business nav, so all you need to update it to proff nav is:-

New or used CCC
I drive (I had to change mine the one i had didnt communicate properly with the CCC)
New or used Screen (8.8") one

I then just had to car coded to pick up the new CCC, it well still owrk without any coding, but when you connect it up to the machine it throws a couple of pages of errors so I wanted that all sorted. IF you dont have Nav your need all the above, plus the GPS antenna (this replaces the one on your roof) and the loom from there to the CCC. Your then have to have the car coded to tell it that it now has navi, this can be done as stonefaces car didnt have navi and now he has proff navi in his ride. Hope this helps

whne you buythe seats you have to get the brains with them they sit under the seat base. My car came with fully electric so it was just plug and play. I had to reset my air bag. All the functions (bar active seats) will work. I am buying the control panel with the active seats button, and will then get a loom made to make them work. (Stoneface has already had this done). I then got my BMW indy to clear the seat modules so that the car can be coded if required, if this is not done and you take it to BMW they will not be able to code the car as it will reject the seat modules. You can overcome this by putting your old modules back in but thats to much hassle, and all the function (like lumber support) well not work. I have just brought another set of seats for my mates M5 which we will be fitting

here is a pic of the brain (stone face putting it in)

Attachment 43656

here is the car stripped at home while we was fitting the kit

Attachment 43657

the wing off

Attachment 43658

The wing

Attachment 43661

your need the m5 bumper carrier for the side

Attachment 43659

finished

Attachment 43660

what u need fo rthe m5 front bumper is the following
the front bumper (lol)
The brake ducts
The metal carriers for the brake ducts (you have to modify the passanger side one to fit as the washer bottle is there)
The inner arches (but i changed the wings)
the 2 sides carriers for it (theres bolt up on the wing)
I must say kav we done a damm good on your car it looks PHATT
