Do I miss anything? Oh, asking for promotion in my M5 poser company after I got quad installed
You are in consideration for a seat on the board. Awaiting further validation.

I cannot afford M5. From fuel consumption to car payment. It's another $20K on top of it.
In this mod:
OEM 166 wheel + tires $1700
M5 front bumper: $300
M5 side skirt and rear bumper + painting = $1100
M5 mirror $1000
Paddle shifters + knobs = $2000
Bribing wife to get approval = $500

Not much, right?
Where did you get the front bumper for $300?

Also, how do the paddles and knobs add up to $2K?

Great job, great car. Just one question. As the price difference between the 550i and the M5 is not big why didn't you buy an M5?

No Marco, the M5 consuption is crazy ..

Wink

It looks very nice one more time its proven that M5 front can be done with the right brackets.
you really dont need fenders but maybe you can get rid of the gap by shaving off the front bumper carrier bc the e60 ones are slightly thicker than the M5`s. its pushing inwards thats why the 1/2 cm gap occurs.. (or you can get a brand new M5 fbumper carrier with
foam inserts)

Used front bumper painted on Craiglists: listed $1000, bought it for $300
Paddle shifter and knob: Used M5 steering wheel set on eBay ($800 in which shipping $50 and wiring transfer $35), New airbag ($700), Shift Knob ($200), Misc ($200)

OK, I just came back from Dinan to have Dinan sponsored (free) Free Flow Exhaust installed. New Dinan exhaust for 550i fits perfectly, and it took only 45 minutes to complete the installation from the time the car on the lift to the time I got the key
The exhaust note is perfect to my taste

I'd like to thank JetBlack for referring me to his bro-in-law who got me to this sponsorship, and Dinan's engineer Chris Chandler who is a very nice and knowledgable professional to work with. I also thank to Oscar at Dinan for showing me the facility and explain me some business and technical issue

Someone has PM me asking about M5 mirror retrofit, I think I should open a new thread.

I took some pics, but forgot to bring flash card reader I'll post some pic tonight!

Fred, I forgot to tell you that you should have asked Dinan to give you the tips from the M5 exhausts. It's bigger than the tips on the standard exhaust for the 545 or 550. hahaha

But of course, I know they wouldn't do it....sucks...
