First of all I am a very patient and fair person. I have given rmahawaii 3 months to make my situation right, but instead he opted to rip me off. To make a long story as short as possible, I received his LED's and after 3 days they started strobing badly. After about 15-20 emails, he finally answered and said that I should send them back and to include a copy of the return shipping so that he would take care of it. After they received them back and many, many more emails, he told me that his LED's would not work on my car ??? and that he would issue me a refund. AFTER TWO MONTHS AND MANY, MANY, MANY, MORE, EMAILS he refunded back to me a total of $248.00 My total cost was 476.10 (388.10 + 88.10 return shipping). The amount he refunded me was without any shipping charges. I still have his emails telling me he would refund all my money including shipping. He now refuses to return any emails. So I'm out $228.10 and no taillights. If I were you I would wait for the LCI rear lamps to come out, they look much better and you can buy them from your dealer.

 

Yeah, I think I'm going to pass on ordering from him. If here we here in the US, that would be one thing, but the fact that he's in Hong Kong is just too risky. And with my luck, after I bought them from him, he would probably end up sending me the ones you returned!

 

Did you pay through Paypal? If you did, hopefully you can recover most, if not all of your payment.

 

Yes I paid the original amount thru paypal $388.00, and then I paid $88.10 in cash at the post office for the return shipping.

This is the guy that I got my LED light from this weekend and they are very good.
Email paypal and ebay and tell them what has happend and they sould sort it out.
I have had this done to me a few time on ebay and it was sorted.

I think yours was a 1 off case
cos my light have 1 year warranty on them but this is in HK so I don`t know if this count for overseas

 

He seems in a hurry to post and defend his actions.

 

Yea I havent herad from him since Jan 13...Shame on him for ripping me off!!!

 

If I was a seller like him then I would only refund the money back for the good only and not for shipping.
All seller or shops on the net will never refund the shipping.

 

Listen buddy, I have an EMAIL from him telling me to return the LED's and to include a copy of my receipt so that he could refund ALL MY MONEY. So that makes your comment pointless.
