Default My after market puddle lights stopped working. Help!

I installed some BMW logo puddle lights on my 2006 525xi just 2 days ago. This morning, I got in my car and I was not greeted with the shining logo on the ground. The lights stopped working after just a day! What went wrong? Did I get defective lights or is my car rejecting them by blowing a fuse? And thoughts are appreciated!

I have had these lights on my car for at least 5 years with a couple issues. If they go out buy new ones. They are cheaply made and you have to get them from the best company you can find for longevity. It's been around 3 years since I've had an issue. Look for companies with a warranty. I purchased a pair through Amazon that gave a 5 year warranty.
