Can anyone help me. The TV in my 03 5 series sport stopped working after the digital change over and I don't know if I can get a free view box or something else that will sort it out. Any help would be greatly received. Thanks

Isn't your tv tuner both analogue and digital? It certainly is on the E60/1. There will be no more analogue anywhere in a couple of years. Digital has been out for years so BMW surely would have provided it. One thing is for sure if you have digital tv, there have been a whole load of updates and you would need to do a retune from time to time to get channels and everything up to date. Your car manual should tell you what to do. Failing this how about googling if you are really determined. http://www.navtvman.co.uk/Page_1.html might be worth a look.

I'm gutted to say it looks like my TV is old and only works off analog. Any additional help would be great.

Just replace the module on the car with a Digi one and you should be good. The very early TV modules were analogue only. Another thing to consider is a DV-T module.
