Hi guys!
I have - I think - a big problem : I would like to get the 166 wheels for my 545i ... And I was agree with a friend (that has a 530xi Touring) to sell to him my n. 124 .

Today he called me for asking if the channel of rears wheel is 8 or 9 .. I know that the channel of the front wheels is 8, but I don't know the rear (but I suspect is 9) .


I saw on the bmw configurator that 530xi has 124s but with four 245/40 ..


The question is .. Can my friend fit my wheels on his 530xi Touring ?


Please tell me yes, otherwise perhaps I can't get the 166s ..

No, he can't use them. We have different offsets. I also don't suggest running a staggered set up on his xit. Sorry man.

I have to talk with my dealer hoping in a change (I buy the 166s and he take my 124s) .

If he takes your 124's, he's not going to be so pleased when he learns what it could do to his car. Your call, but he must know that his offset is much different than your 124's. Offset is a very important piece when it comes to wheels. Screwing with it, could screw with the car, especially an AWD drive car like the "xi's". If he's not such a great friend, then give it to him and enjoy your new 166's.
