Thanks Frank. Where are the brake ducts? OK, I know WHERE they are, but I am not sure how to identify the REAL ones.

Looks good Sam ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
Quick question: Were you able to re-mount the brake ducts on the car with this bumper?
I've never been able to get a straight answer. Thanks!

My answer is no. I couldnt figure out a way for the OEM brake ducts from this car to mount onto the new bumper.

Not stupid at all, I just didn't comprehend your question.
The M5 front uses what is normally the fog housing for the M-tech front for the brake ducts.
As you mentioned, the M-tech has the 2 ducts (left and right) of the center grill.
The M5 rep has fogs lights, and there are no attachment points within the center
grill area (left and right) for the brake ducts. You might check with a local body
shop if they could somehow fabricate it to mount the ducts.

word. I would also like to know the answer to this.
They aren't. I asked not one but two local speed shops and both said that the only use you'll get out of them is if you're tracking your car. You get plenty of ventilation to your front brakes by just driving. Think about it, your rear tires have no brake ducts and they do just fine.

honestly i think those ducts contribute (somewhat, not a whole lot) to more dust on the wheels IMO.
personally i prefer the M5 over the MTEC because as mentioned earlier they give the front more of an aggressive stance, and i like aggressive
