I have 124s in my car without spacers and honestly can't tell the difference with/without spacers, from those pictures

Yeah the pictures suck. However, in person with the same car without the spacers, the difference is huge. Even my wife noticed!

I run 124's on my 535 and can see a huge difference between yours and mine. The last question I had was on the front 5mm spacer did you have any problems with the wheels not being hubcentric? The rim still seats onto the hub correctly?

Yes, I had a problem with the 5mm spacers being that the 124's are beveled. I took them off and they are now for sale in the classifieds. Without them, the look is still day and night over no spacers. In the front, IMHO, doesn't need them. To run them successfully, you will have to purchase hub extenders to add to the depth of the hub since the 5mm spacers take up most of it. The extenders are not needed; however, if your wheels are not beveled.

are your 124's 9" wide or 10" wide at the rear?

Probably 18mm but the pictures don't do it justice. 15mm is perfectly flush for me.
