On BMW E60 2006, can the any of the modules for example KBM or KGM , be programmed for anything? ie, for example the connector X1670, pin numbers 6 and 7 are spare. on the KGM. Can the kgm be programmed to send a output from either of these pins when a condition is met. i,e signal from pin 6 when ignition is on and signal from pin 7 when ignition is off?. or is the programming fixed to specific functions?
Its a hypothetical question but could potentially open up options for after market accessories.
