At the end of the day it's your car to do as you please obviously but in my opinion anything more than intake and exhaust is a waste of money/time on a 530. I would just lower it on some nice 19's, and upgrade the front end lighting.
I have bc racing coils and it was money well spent. Not only can I adjust the ride height but I can make them as stiff or as soft as I please.

Good luck with your car. Spend your mod money on reliability, suspension, aesthetics in that order.

HI,I believe there is a lot of mods that can be done to make an e60 more enjoyable. I followed a lot of the e90 guys and the results are awesome from when I first got her. The mods are pricey,as with all bmw parts, but I don't have the matanince that they have. I don't have 500hp,but it's fun to drive. These cars handle so well,if you dig,you can mod.

All I've done is the sprint booster. ..some say stomping the pedal shld give same results. ..I'm in the camp that disagrees. I don't regret that simple $300 mod at all. Oh and a afe air filter.
I often wonder if I want the last yr 530i before getting deep into the project list on my 04 though...

My Ride: 2006 BMW 525ix (N52 Engine)
I got a 525xi and i thought about either doing the Stage 3 intake manifold with a nice air filter or just dish out the money for a supercharger. But... I dont think its worth it. The supercharger is 5k... i could get a E30 for that lol. The stage 3 intake manifold kit is like 1,300 from ECS and on top of that you need a tune, so thats another 400-500 bucks. People have said that there isnt much difference.
I figured i can either stick to cosmetic mods for my car, and maybe get a project car, or trade my 525xi for a 550i and have a wider choice for suspension options, more power out of the box, some modding ability with a little bit more gain, and the awesome sound of a V8.
Honestly, 525 or 530 i or xi, id just leave it as is. Maybe my problem is that I got a Xi and it just not as quick off the line or has as much torque as a regular RWD E60.
