I don't know exactly the procedure, but I was told by my engineer that he will programm my DME directly with the 3.0 L OEM data (not by the VIN number DME programming/update procedure) I have seen in person in his store a 520i, on which he did the swap to 530i with the 520 DME, without problems. He did an additional chip tuning as well after the DME programming.

any bolt on SC in the market for M54B30? I would be happy with 280-290 PS.......but just want bolt on do not want to modify ...is it possible?

You can be happy with 330-350 HP, that, trust me, they aren't so much .
About installation... 7-8 hours and it is a reversible mod
I'm wondering if Nick installed his 3.0i or not..

Which is this kit? Will it not put too much strain in the engine? I just want a little bit more torque thats it....maybe I should just get the sprint booster after all lol
