Can't really bash ModBargains if they did refund you the money thats was taken out of the account. Prior to you wanting the Falken tires was this a good amount of time into your order that you wanted Falkens? If so then the order would have already been processed I would assume, form there on the system would have already completed your transaction. All in all if they already returned your money then this is just a case of timing, NOT bad business ethics.

Just my 2 cents.

Are wheels a custom order with them? Otherwise looks like their return policy states they will accept returns in 30 days...with a restocking fee. However they haven't left their stock so I'd imagine there would be no restocking fee.

Good luck!
Sounds like dude made an order for wheels and tires, and then was told they couldn't get the tires, but was charged for them anyway. Since he authorized them to charge him for a specific tire they did not have, there is no order(how can they order a product they can't get?), and the money should be refunded without any cancellation fees. If the vendor tried to charge him a cancellation fee, he could simply dispute it with his CC company, and the vendor would get charged back. Only reading the customer's side and not seeing the vendor's, it looks like they knew they didn't have the tires but charged him anyway, in an effort to get him to stay with the purchase, and just pick another tire. If that's the case, I don't agree with this kind of business practice. It's dishonest IMO.

Most business' wont charge you until they actually ship the product...unless of course they have to special order the product for you, then they should only charge you a deposit until the equipment comes in. Then once the complete order ships, charge you for the remaining balance.

But, I can see how they could have charged you for the set...not the most honest business practice if you ask me though...

No worries man... That's simply the way I see it.
