When you "lose sidewall", your tires might feel like the sidewalls "collapse" easily (at least I think, that's what Michael meant) under heavy cornering. This may also be the culprit. Either way, a little over-pumping might fix the issue. What tire pressures are you running?
Not sure what pressure. I'll have to check and get back to you on that. But hope you're right , little over pumping sounds like a good idea.

An optimal size of 245/30/20 (front) 285/25/20(rear) would have kept your radius around stock, your circumference around stock and your rolling diameter difference would have been .16-.28 % which is nothing

Bad news with this setup is sidewall height goes out the window along with the rim protection and ride quality. but would feel like you had the stock 18 setup.
