sorry for confuse.....

re-q is not a sub. it is like a integration unit for sub to have optimal output of the sub volume level.

I wasnt satisfy with output of my sub with powerful subs and amp.... and instead of getting another amp to power up my sub, i decided to change peripheral integration unit to MTX Re-q .

This unit helps not only your bass but also your regular speaker to not get distorted ... also increased bass output..

go check it out... www.reqsound.com

You cant put 1500watts RMS through a 12" kicker, The 12"L7 is 750watts RMS. Only way you could put 1500watts through a 12" is if you had the kicker solo x, and two of them in an e60 would be ridiculous lol. Leaving the armrest down if you have the ski hatch option helps bass come through nicely, Otherwise custom parcel shelf.

i do have the solo x ones.... the only reason why i put them in my car is because i got them for free from my brother....n i only paid 80 bucks for the installation... so it was a steal, and a offer that i could not refuse.

I have used Re-Q previously and its a nice unit. The problem was that I wanted to upgrade my underseat speakers as well and run them active. Re-Q does not have an ability to power several chanels. I am running Audiocontrol LS6 right now and it sounds even better then Re-Q (possibly subjective) with 3 output chanels. The price of the units is very similar. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

+2 But I think we should split the Parts, Accessories and Mods into multiple subforums.

Back When I had a IS300 I would visit their forum.
They broke it up into these subforums: Engine Mods, Exterior Mods, Interior Mods, Wheels, Audio, and Lighting.

Just a suggestion though, anyway is it possible for the battery in the E60 to handle two amps???

yes, but you would have to run capacitors to the amps. so it won't drain your battery....
