I'm starting to see more E60's with 20's. So far the look very cool.

I guess it depends on the condition of the local roads if they will work out in the long run. My OEM 18's bounce pretty good on the main street around the corner from my house....still the 20's look realllly good....mmmm....should I buy a jacuzzi or put the 20's on my ride?

Hey T_SilverE60,

I thinking about getting your same rims however in chrome. A couple of questions for you. First off with did you get 245/35/20, instead of the recommend 245/30/20? (the same for the rear, they [tirerack, tires.com, etc] recomend 295/25/20, that me be why you acceralation is also affected). Second, with a larger tire size, do you have any rubbing? Third, you mentioned no problems with the ride except you feel the bumps more, if so how much more? Fourth, any vibration problems? (did they have to used hub rings to install?) Fifth, any problems with bending rims? Sixth, if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for the set of rims? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure that I get the all facts. Thanks!

TCAST305:

The front wheels are 245/35/20 and the rear 275/30/20 only because i bought the wheels off of a demo (M5). The 275 are pretty wide, i don't know if i'd go with the 295/25. There's no rubbing at all even with five adults in the car. The bumps are minimal....this is expected w/after market rims. No vibrations at all....VERY SMOOTh and comfortable. The rims are strongly built...only problem thus far is some minor scratches are the rim due to parking a little too close to the curb. I received a great deal on the rims and tires...I'm sorry i promised not to disclose however,if you're dealer is charging you over $5500 you're over paying. I purchased the alloy w/the polished finish... if you have a silver e60 i would not recommend chrome. On a black car Chrome may look ideal.....
i hope this helps

LouDawg:

The lip on the maya dtm is about 3 inches in the front and 3.5 inches in rear. Man, 3.5 and 4 is PRETTY DEEP! I'm sure it look great.
