I have a local dealer who charges 1500-2000 over Manheim auction prices. Does that sound reasonable for buying a used E60?

Well, look at it this way: if you go with that dealer, you'll get a car priced several large below NADA trade in, but that $1.5-2K fee seems a bit high to me.

seems a bit high to me. I was offered 500$ above cost for Manhiem at PA.
I went to look at cars there, everything happens way too fast there....just do ur homework before you go.
I ended up buying local since i got to drive it and think about it etc before buying it.

I was trying to find out what wholesale is on my 06' 530? It has 12.5k on the odo. it also has the S.P., P.P., sirius, and will be off lease in Oct. Can you give me the value according to Manheim? Thanks.

Take it to CarMax. Theyn will offer to buy your car at wholesale.

I don't want to sell, I want to buy the car myself at lease end, and I want to know how much Manheim says it's worth.

Costs and fees at Manheim have gone up [along with everything else]. Some brokers work closer to the wire than others. But if you spec the car, offer some flexibility for options and color, and it's available you should be able to cut a deal with a regular to Manheim's high-line auction for less than $1500.

Where are you located? There are a couple of high-volume retail stores that are at Manheim (NJ & PA) regularly and will work with you.

Too hard to tell, as there are several intangibles that are factored in to the selling price. I just peeped at average selling prices for 530iA (you didn't mention the tranny, so I assumed it was an auto) over the past few months, and for cars with very low mileage like yours (~17-18k) the selling price has been around $26-30K. I know that your car has less mileage, and appears to be fully loaded, but October is several months away...
If I spend more time, maybe I can get you a more accurate estimate.

Hope that helps!
