Hi everyone, I am new here. I own a 2009 528i with the LCI Halogen headlights and would like to make my angel eyes turn on as DRL instead of the high beam. I searched the forums and there are two options: coding or modify the wiring with some diodes or relay. I am new to this stuff and rather not screw something up...so curious if anyone can help me out? I am in the bay area (vallejo).

^^^There is another thread discussion on this topic. I don't think cars without Bi-Xenon lights have this feature.
Check your idrive, there should be a setting to enable/disable DRL's. If it still doesn't work then you will have to hack into the wiring.

I find since they aren't really all that bright the dusk hours or the overcast light times are the moments I want them on. I too wish there was an easy way to have them on all of the time. I don't have a coder, and there seems like no other easy way.
