Hey All,
I just got my Magnaflow 14816 muffler (3.5" tips) not to long ago and i'm ready to get it installed soon but I was wondering about which alignment would look best with this muffler on a stock OEM bumper. All I know so far is I want the tips to be spaced as close and even as possible to the bumper cut out on both sides and top without touch so it doesn't melt the bumper, so maybe about 0.5" of clearance from the bumper cut out. The three options would be:
1) Original OEM position which is about 0.5"-1" sunken in from the bumper
2) Flush with the bumper, would have the inside exhaust tip sitting flush with where the bumper is
3) Sticking/poking out 0.5"-1" out from the bumper
What and how are other exhaust/muffler tuner's aligning the tips? I know a few of you on here have this muffler, what's your experience with this and what do you guys think looks best with this muffler and stock OEM bumper? Any Pictures?
Thanks all in advance!

Why not make another cutout on the opposite side to have quad tips and install magnaflow 10425 x2 resonators and 11385 xpipe center muffler then pick your own tips.

I would love to go with a quad setup but that's just not an option right now. Just going to keep it simple and stick to this magnaflow single side exhaust muffler upgrade, custom Helmholtz Chambers/J-Pipes to get rid of the drone and possibly resonator upgrade as well.
