Well I was curious so I pulled one out and took a picture of one.
Tell me what you guys think so far. I still need to wash them.

See if you can have the rash repaired. It shouldn't cost too much since it's most likely on the unpainted surface.

they look real to me as i have a set myself, $1300 for a set with tires are quite a good deal,
but just keep in mind that for the curb rash, even if you got it fixed, the color will be slightly
different than the original if you can accept that..
well $1000 dollars was too good to be true. I went down to have the wheels balanced and found out that 3 wheels were bent. so I will be getting my money back and looking for more rims. I might have to buy new

Glad to know you'll get your money back anyway. Maybe you could buy a set of Miro Replicas with new tires for a good price.

Guys, I just put 167's on my car. As you know before doing any mod I research it to death.
1. OEM 167's have a characteristic groove on the inner lip for weight saving and design. (Nick showed this in the thread).
2. Color of OEM 167's have a lighter tone of anthracite.
3. Non OEM weigh in 3-5 pounds heavier per wheel.
4. OEM's 167 are "made in Austria or Germany" Mine happen to be from Germany and do not mention BBS. Only BMW part no. and stamp of date and time of production.
from fotos I see a darker tone of color and no characteristic groove. No OEM 167 is made in Italy...
