M5 wheels and tires on normal E60?!

Hello fellow people!

I have the possibility to buy oem m5 wheels incl. orig. tires for the m5?!
Can the be installed on a normal e60?!

8,5x19 (front) ET 12 / 255/40R19
9,5x19 (back) ET 28 / 285/35R19

They can but I believe the front tires will rub, 245 in the front would be safer

245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear are the correct set up. You can go with a wider tire then 275 on the rear, but you also need to reduce the ratio to offset the width

Correct...you should be able to get by with the rears its the front that will give you the problem....although the diameter of the front and rears will be different if you do that, but if it doesnt matter to you, then go for it.

285/30 is max rear and 245/35 in the front.

Note the numbers, the tires don't fit but the wheels do.

jesus christ!!! I just bought wheels with new tires and was expecting to pop them on - learning the expensive tires wont work just sucks!!!

Ive tried t put on hartges classic 2 - no luck
Now i buy these - n no luck again!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Good thing i havent paid for them yet

Here's my 05 545i with 275/30 & 245/35 continental tires on OEM M5 rims. 285 is ok in the back but 255 WILL rub bad...trust me!! I've got to say the oem 18's drive a bit better!
