SMG3 paddles are very cool (especially the lighting!!), but you can't push them so the SMG levers are still better (I can upshift/downshift 2 gears per time) .

its 3 am here ... i just went out and did some beginner level drifts with DTC DSC off and my new steering....its soo much fun fun fun.... the whole pchycology is playing the M badge game again....i feel my car is faster lol....even though its slow as a mule than most of the cars on this forum lol.. just got the + - sorted out from Fred....... Fred you rock.....

Looking good... Do the paddle shifters actually work? If so how easy is it to connect them to the transmission?
Did you get it fitted thru the dealer so warranty wont be void?

Fred, what about swapping the levers only ?
Could the M5 levers be mounted in the SMG1 paddle?
Also losing the lighting, doesn't matter .

Installed it my self, dealer doesn't care about warranty in these issues, well mine does not..... And YES the paddles WORK, contact my530i if you want to get this mod done.
