Looks Great!!! As you know I bought the SMG M5 shifter today, (SEE PIC BELOW), It is tiny compared to our stock steptronic e60 boots, but how did you get to use your stock steptronic boot on the SMG M5 shifter knob?

Eddie, you gotta cut away a section of the m5 boot leather and attached it to the stock leather. My method included universal glue and some sowing - other people use a tie clip. It's personal on the way it ultimately looks (and gets connected.)

I haven't heard from Fred (tried to PM him). I would like to buy the shifter kit. Anyone have instructions on how to make or buy it if I don't hear from him? I would prefer to buy it.
