and i assume the Idrive know is the same as well, just switch them. they are the same fit? What MY is your car? thanks

That is a great, but simple mod I would have already done on my car, if it was steptronic. (along with the SMG paddle shifters)

Your e60 now looks SMG M5 cool!!! But tell me, how did you handle your Parking Lock release button on your old steptronic shifter to your new SMG M5 shifter that don't have one?

Did you lock it out, and by pass your park release function somehow from your steptronic transmission?
