I ordered these same mirrors on Monday. With any luck, mine will be getting a fresh paint job this time next week. Jet Black also... no CF.

You might want to ask him to remove the black vinyl sticker that is put on the part before shipping. You can see it in the photo on the 1st page. This is cool if you have anything but a black car, otherwise the shop is going to have to remove it to paint over it properly.

Which makes it even less useful.

Yah, while I agree the puddle lights are cool, they personally don't serve much of a purpose to me, and certainly is not worth paying over 50% for. I can't say I have ever been anywhere so dark that I couldn't see the car. Besides, with my mods, my car is lit pretty well when I unlock anyway, lol.

Please give us a feedback on how hard or easy it is to transfer the internal parts on your OEM mirrors to the new one.

The auto-dimming feature is a great addition to the looks of the M5 side mirrors(no bluish tint glasses). I'm still satisfied with just the auto-dim, I can't get the auto-fold feature to work since my car doesn't have this feature.
