im sorry not to being clear. What i am trying to say is BMW designs wheels for specific cars to go with the flow of the car which means m5 wheels were meant for m5 and 167 for m6. BBS OEM for both of them are nice but replica of 167 would make car looks cheap. 167 give wide open look for caliper. If it has a big break kit with slotted or drilled rotor or both , it would be nice to showing them but stock rotor with caliper, i dont know.. it might just look too tacky. (no offense just my piece of opinion )

If he is just going for looks, I would go for some good aftermarket wheels to be more stand out.

I dont know honestly i have a mix feeling also..

also m5 wheels will be easier to repair curb damages because it is painted silver so it will be cheaper for long term...
I like both too...but 167's easy to clean but like you said it shows my ugly rusted caliper.

That was one of the reasons why I didn't want the 167's originally! You need brembo's for those to look right IMO. Our OEM calipers look sick and anemic with those wheels.

+384756 on the 166's!

I got 166's from Garry for my 535 with sport pkg. After looking at dozens of photos I decided that non lowered cars look better with the 166's. that's just my opinion but something to think about. The 167's are better wheels but they cost significantly more. If I had a non sport car I would consider lowering before I bought wheels. by the way, I had a very good experience buying wheels and TPM's from Garry.
