I read the old topic about the switching of the instrument cluster and I would like to know if by buying a new (uncoded) M5 cluster would it be possible to code it so it will be working with no failure with steptronic or actually with the LCI SAT. I saw that to whom has changed it on steptronic was giving a failure alert in D and DS mode. In case this is not possible to avoid would it be working with the ALPINA cluster? I has the same look of the M5 but Alpina do have same transmissions as the normal BMW cars.

Thank you for the help.

Don't know if there are different clusters, here is what I've found.

Thanks ipp!
An Alpina dealer told me every BMW dealer can provide Alpina parts, but I don't be so sure about it .
