Is it possible to install the E60 M5 front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper on a 2004 545? Will any modification be needed for the front bumper? Has this been done? I was thinking about the M-Tecnik kit but for about the same amount of money you can get the M5 pieces. I only negative I see is you lose your fog lights.
As per realoem (retail prices). I get 25% off retail at my dealer.
Fenders $398.41 each
Front Bumper Cover $530.10
Rear Bumper Cover $541.26
Side Skirt $219.85 each
Total:
$2307.88 with fenders ($1730.91 w/ discount)
$1511.06 without fenders ($1133.30 w/ discount)
M-Tecnik kit $1886.04 ($1414.53 w/ discount)
Thanks
Bill

Yes. Everything but the M5 front bumper fits perfect. You will need to modify the front bumper. Ping my530i or busta. These two guys have fitted the M5 front onto stock e60 fenders.
Per my experience, it would be much easier to install front bumper with headlights remove to enable easy access to screw location.
Sideskirt is plug and play.
Rear bumper cover needs bumper support and "diffuser". One needs to drill up the spare tire compartment to bolt the screw holding diffuser in place.

Hello,
I have a M5 front bumper on my 520iA with OEM fenders. It's around 95% perfect, bumper -> fenders.. I want some fog lights housing for my car and a composite dealer here in Norway will produce some housings for my bumper in June/July. He will maybe produce 10 examples for M5 bumpers and it will cost around 4000NOK or 663USD.. You can look at the prototype and testing of the lights.
