Haha... Wowe got you on the M5 front bumper, my530i. Actually, I thought it was a M-Tech front as well until wowe pointed it out.

I think it's probably not that hard to retrofit the fog lights into the M5 bumper in the hands of a capable body shop.

One other thing, some real M5s do have chrome trim. I've seen it over in the M5 subforum.
You are totaly right about the chrome trim

At least he did a good and consistent job with all the mods. It could have come out a whole lot worse. It's still a shame he spent so much on them and there's nothing to back it up though.

This man should be applauded, not criticized!

He is obviously an environmentalist who feels that its immoral to own a real M5 with its 12 mpg.

Give this guy some credit. I think overall the upgrade looks very nice, I'll prefer to remove the M power emblem from the rear, it looks cheesy.

Do you realize that is an actual M5 badge he has on there? And the owner is from Massachusetts.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, but it is a repost. This has been on eBay for a while. I guess his first attempt at selling wasn't fruitful.

Dear All,

All of us know it is not real M5, but where is the problem if he like to have the shape of M5?

Each of us has different taste. our cars colors, inside seats and many things. why?
because of our taste.

So having a 525 with M5 shape it is not a bad thing, we are free to transfer our cars to a way that we like and love

so let the guy be happy with his car
