I just got my m-tech kit and will be getting it painted this week and Im wondering what I should do with the rear diffuser. Do I leave it the way it is (black plastic), paint it black, or paint it silver gray (the color of the car)?

I recently had my rear diffuser painted at a stealership in the colour code 'B27'. This is the colour that the new F10 MSport rear diffusers are painted. I was bored of the stock blue diffuser. The paint finish is a gloss and is so much better I think than stock colour. I think the rear stance is more aggressive and compliment the rear 275 Conti tyres well.

Photos attached. Thought welcome.

I say balance the color out with your front grilles. If you have matte black or gloss black grilles, have the diffuser, matte black or gloss black. If you have chrome grilles or body color grilles, make the diffuser the silver gray.

I agree; good logic deployed here.

Here's another option....have it painted silver gray...then vinyl wrap it with matte or gloss black depending on your mood. If you then decide to use body color or chrome grills to change things up, just take the wrap off and your diffuser is silver gray again.

Any reco shops in LA area that can do this? Looking into doing this on my 2nd "euro" diffuser.
