if there are different sensor part numbers does this mean number 7 is not what i need i cant see why they would have different parts if there the same umm this is confusing! wish someone has been through this before! ah well i will get to the bottom of this so it will be here for the future!

 

damn damn called bmw number 7 is a rubber gasket the parts guy said and he said the mssport sensors are bigger than the se ones he said... is he wrong if thats the case surley all these ppl that buy a msport bumper for there se is forced to get 4 new sensors that cant be... ppl dont seem to mention this on there conversions?...

 

Anyone else had this issue?

 

confirmed the rubber bits are not the part missing the sensor brackets are totaly different on the msport

 

I hate to tell you but I bought an OEM M-Tech front bumper for my 08 528i and had to buy new sensors. The M-tech bumper uses a completely different sensor. Sorry.

 

in the end guys its new sensors of some home made rings to fill the gaps i made home made rings i went to a local plastic place and got them laser cut perfect size glied them to the org brackets then glued the brackets on from the back and clipped sensors in as normal however sensors didnt pop all the way through seeded to clip the bracket a bit to alow the sensor to go through it further. looks oem
