I cant seem to find anyone who has attempted to do the famous tuna can/PE mod on a 535. I am having trouble even finding a picture or description of what is in each of our rear "mufflers". Ive heard that the flap side is not a muffler, but a resonator??
It is not worth my $$ to take it to a shop and have a custom setup or play around with a bunch of random combinations of center mufflers/xpipes/second cats/muffler/straight pipe. I just want a little more sound, I am FBO, and the exhaust is still stock and sounds underwhelming even at WOT. If I can cut one or both rear "mufflers" open and weld in some pipes to get a bit more aggressive sound then I will do it. If its going to take a bunch of trips to a shop for custom setup then I would rather just stay stock. Ive heard muffler delete on this engine/chassis. Was too loud with drone/rasp.
Anyone have any insight as to the construction of our rear "mufflers"???
TIA

I haven't seen pictures but compared with what Ive heard on the 335s; I would open the one with the flap, straight pipe it out and repack the insulation; while keeping the flap functional. You get the fun volume on throttle while still having the flap to help with cruise/off throttle noise.
I have the internals for the N52 mufflers but I doubt they are the same as the 535/545/550 ones.
